The Adecco Group, one of the world’s leading provider of HR solutions, is looking for a professional for its Budapest based partner in the following position:
Head of Engineering
The Head of Engineering must have a solid track record of execution and delivery, as well as the ability to get things done and ship products using Agile development methodologies to help us improve our processes: engineering, metrics, culture, quality, hiring and growth.
We are looking for you if you are dedicated to helping our partner build a world-class engineering organization and demonstrate a great degree of autonomy, end-to-end ownership and flexibility by working closely with our CTO and by helping and supporting each other.
What will you do:
- Develop the tech strategy, create and maintain a tech roadmap
- Ensure that the product vision is met through selecting and implementing suitable technology and through excellence in execution
- Design and customize technological systems and platforms to improve customer experience
- Approve purchases of technological equipment and software and establish partnerships with IT providers
- Oversee the technological infrastructure (networks and computer systems) in the organization to ensure optimal performance
- Monitor changes or advancements in technology to identify ways for the company to gain a competitive advantage
- Analyze the costs, value and risks of information technology to advise management and suggest actions
- Managing the tech team, ensuring that the skill-set is appropriate for the tasks at hand and the team has the necessary resources to perform their tasks in a timely manner through outstanding project management and planning
- Represent Tech in management

- Passionate about scaling technology, building quality software and leading a dedicated tech team to meet the needs of tomorrow
- Skilled and experienced people manager who builds a high-performance team and drives a culture of continuous improvement
- Experience
- Experience in leading and managing Engineering team
- Strong people management and soft skills
- Ability to analyze incoming information, identify emerging trends, propose new products and services and understand feasibility checks
- Enthusiasm for BrokerChooser and our mission
- Advanced in written & spoken English
- Excellent communication skills
