Operational Excellence Leader
The Sourcing Operational Excellence Leader leads P2P process and projects &initiatives with broad scope and high impact to the business or is a recognized expert in a specialized field. Responsible for major and complex assignments with long-term business implications. This role contributes to the overall strategy and manages complex issues within functional areas area of expertise.
Responsibilities
- Manage the Purchase to Pay Process in EU. This includes: Supplier Relationship Management, Overall KPI improvement and Sourcing quality – ISO across direct, indirect, projects and services related spend
- Leading local Buyers in fulfilling purchasing commitments and organize the appropriate development plans.
- Drive proactive involvement in all functional activities (Compliance, Logistics, Supply Chain, Product Management, Finance.) related to sourcing to ensure that sourcing has upfront involvement in all new programs and delivers strong value to the business. 
- Serve as a subject matter expert on the design and implementation for their assigned area.
- Will drive and be accountable for operational excellence of assigned programs.  
- Engage the business leadership team to develop sourcing programs/processes and deliver enhanced productivity.
- Manages budgets and contracts associated with programs and/or initiatives. 
- Support and deliver solutions related to the digitization programs.
- Partner with category managers to drive Ariba participation with existing and new suppliers
- Implement and maintain a quality improvement process targeting reduction in product variation and product losses using key management tools. 
- Collaborate with regional manager and Operations and Initiatives leader in setting realistic and challenging operational goals, and contribute to their accomplishment
- Manage local Buyer/Contract Administrators in fulfilling purchasing commitments and organize the appropriate program plans. 
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college
- At least 5 additional years of experience in a Sourcing position
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
- Ability to cope with multiple complex situations daily
- Experienced with principles and procedures related to contract terms and conditions.
- Strong leadership skills 
- Experience with Oracle/SAP 
- Excellent proficiency with office computer applications i.e. Excel, Access, Word, PowerPoint.
- Negotiation expertise is preferred
