Finance Manager

Adecco is looking for an experienced professional, who would support one of its Italian start-up client as a Finance Manager. 

• Implement and develop the company policies in the administration, finance and controlling sector;
• Preparation of the local annual financial statutory (according to local GAAP) work closely with the Cluster CFO and Corporate CFO structure to implement the group accounting procedures analyse the impact of new accounting pronouncements and ensure the proper implementation thereof;
• Manage all external auditing processes (KPMG Local audit authorities);
• Supervise accurate and timely prepared local accounting and corporate consolidated financial statements;
• Prepare board relevant information which includes audit committee materials, provide a proactive approach to communication to Country Manager and the audit committee should material information occur;
• Provide oversight for the preparation of income tax returns VAT custom clearance /other local fiscal duties;
• Handle relations with banks in accordance with the financial policies of the Group cash flow management;
• Customer management follow up of credit limits interaction with salespeople, customers validation for new customers validation of internal credits follow up Control on the ageing interaction with credit insurance company;
• Coordinate/prepare the Five Year Strategic Plan and Annual Budget (Purchases, HR, Costs, Financial);
• Prepare monthly reporting with the analysis of variances to the budget and discuss it with CIC;
• Prepare the quarterly report in respect of IFRS and the Group's rules;
• Develop and maintain relationships with the local professional community, update job knowledge by remaining aware of new regulations;
• Manage the local administrative finance controlling structure, which includes employee engagement and professional development (depending on the future company growth);
• Work with the entire local organization to identify opportunities for improvement, cost reduction, and systems enhancement support the local Country Manager and the Corporate Departments about initiatives by studying market and economic trends and risks, how to take advantage of opportunities and mitigate risks;

• 5 years experience in Finance and Accounting;
• University graduate in Accounting, Finance or Economics;
• Detail oriented with strong analytical skills;
• Proactive and flexible mindset;
• Dynamic and initiative developer;
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work well in team in fast paced and dynamic environments;
• Fluent in English;
• Skilled on Office package (Power Point, Excel) and ERP and CRM systems;
