Junior Data Scientist

Your tasks:

• Preparation, processing and exploratory analysis of complex data
• Assist businesses in making decisions, automize processes and optimizations
• Develop data products, e.g. in the form of machine learning models and dashboards, for business stakeholders in order to support decision-making and process automation and optimization
• Extract meaning using machine learning and statistics + intuition
• Identify relationships, correlations, patterns, clusters and anomalies
• Visualize dynamic results and present to business partners

Your profile:

• Master's degree (PHD preferred) in Mathematics, Physics or Computer Sciences (or equivalent) with fundamental knowledge of data science, (big data) analytics and AI technologies, processes and procedure models
• 3+ years of experience in data science, (big data) analytics, statistics, artificial intelligence, application development and other related disciplines
• Experience in data mining and machine learning techniques (like boosting, generalized linear models/regression, random forests, decision tree learning, artificial neural networks, clustering)
• Experience building statistical models and manipulating data sets
• Strong mathematical background with very good knowledge in the areas of statistics & machine learning, software development and data management (storage/database) technology or querying expertise (Python, R, Java, SQL)
• "Hacker" mindset, problem solver and outside-the box thinker
• Excellent verbal and written English language skills
