We are looking to recruit in Budapest and its surrounding area
new staff members for an
Application and database administrator
position.
Your tasks will be (most of the working time->50-60%) :
- Active participation in projects to continuously renew and expand IT infrastructure
- Installation, upgrading and infrastructure support of specialised logistics systems
- Database server (Oracle) operation (installation, tuning, debugging)
- Liaising with internal business customers and external partners
Other challenging tasks :
- Participation in ensuring the continuous operation of IT systems in stores and logistics centres
- Solving challenging errors at level 2 (L2)
- L2 - Supporting the management of the second level logistics operations (L2) - Collaborating with an international team of more than 4000 IT experts
- Participation in international workshops
If you have :
- College degree (successfully completed)
- 3-5 years of experience in IT infrastructure
- Experience in application installation and configuration
- Knowledge of database technologies (Oracle)
- At least basic knowledge of IT infrastructure basics (network devices, servers, etc.) and MS technologies (Windows server, AD, DHCP, DNS...)
- Good problem solving and communication skills
- Process and systems approach
- Fluency in English (German would be an advantage)
- Flexibility and workload
- Driving licence (category B)
