Senior Finance Controller

We’re looking for a Senior Financial Controller to join our client's team, an international technology service provider in the ICT industry.
The Budapest office is based in the 13th district, however the position offers 2-3 days working from home.

• Supporting and controlling the work of external accounting offices
• Contribute to financial budgeting, forecasting and regular reporting (monthly, quarterly and adhoc inquiries) work
• Take focused role in the yearly financial closing, participation in the statutory audit of the local entities and Group audit processes
• Coordinating and supporting the work of various local and Group level internal and external teams related to finance: credit control, AP, AR, and finance controlling
• Enthusiastic participation in development, documentation, and implementation of harmonized Group Finance policies & procedures
• Supporting other operational teams, mainly Sales, Product Management, Logistics in their everyday activities and Claiming vendor processes
• Being in the touch with main partners (customers/suppliers) to assure timely financial settlements and financing facilities
• Responsible for monitoring of targets realisation for, among others, profitability, expenditures, cash flow
• Focused participation in statutory Group consolidation process, provision of evidence and documentation in relation to the entities in their area of responsibility
• Cooperation with main partners (customers/suppliers) to assure timely financial settlements and financing facilities
• Monitoring compliance with generally accepted accounting principles and other statutory requirements
• Liaison with Tax advisors, authorities, and other regulatory bodies
• Participation in various ad-hoc projects

• Hungarian & English language skills - full professional proficiency
• College or University degree (finance / accountancy / economics)
• At least 5+ years’ experience working in an accountancy / finance role with relevant management, reporting, and controlling experience
• Result oriented, flexible and open-minded personality, with the ability to delegate, good attention to detail and hands-on mentality
• Strong knowledge of all functional areas of Finance and up to date legal knowledge

• Background in IT distribution makes the onboarding period smoother
• SAP, Power BI knowledge is a plus
