Monitoring Engineer

Our Client, a leading telecommunication company, is searching for a Monitoring Engineer for a global project.

What your tasks would be:

• Being responsible for the overarching monitoring system of a public cloud platform from the Operation & Maintenance point of view
• Achieving the SLA, and developing the Operation & Maintenance process and capabilities
• Managing, configuring, maintaining monitoring tools and implementing monitoring solutions
• Creating documentation for the maintenance tools and monitoring structure as needed
• Providing training on tools and the associated processes and procedures
• Communicating with partners (and customers) to manage, coordinate, track and monitor the project
• Coordinating and helping to resolve various technical and non-technical issues during project implementation
• Identifying improvement opportunities, and propose feasible optimization strategies to ensure smooth project implementation

What helps you to get this job:

• Having a university degree in computer science or other relevant discipline or equivalent experience
• 1-3 years of relevant experience, preferably in enterprise Infrastructure/Server Monitoring
• Being familiari with the popular monitoring tools like Prometheus, Zabbix, Grafana, Cacti etc.
• Basic understanding of networking concepts
• Effective organizational, interpersonal, analytical and communications skills
• Strong learning ability and adaptability

What is nice to have:

• Having experience in SRE or DevOps
• Basic knowledge of databases and virtualization is preferred
• Experience with Cloud solutions
