We are searching for
Network Operations Engineer
One of our client’s leading division is searching for a Network Operations Engineer to join our global company.
Responsibilities :
Due to the industry's competitiveness and dynamic nature, you will have the chance to show off your abilities in a supportive environment. Regarding this, you will :
- play a significant part in the infrastructure and performance of the production network
- investigate events involving a wide range of network and security technologies in offices and data centers throughout the world and promptly resolve them,
- coordinate difficult troubleshooting tasks with the other IT teams and have the chance to go beyond simply comprehending networking fundamentals,
- Using a wide range of tools, Ansible, or the CLI, prepare and deploy fundamental changes on traditional network equipment, firewalls, load balancers, and WiFi infrastructure. assist design engineers with deployments connected to large projects,
- manage the life cycle of the network infrastructure by optimizing and enhancing our monitoring systems, deploying regular and essential updates, conducting performance assessments and recommending improvements, and maintaining correct documentation.
If you have hands-on experience with the majority of below core topics and technologies, we should talk :
- Arista and Cisco advanced routing and switching technologies and protocols,
- BGP and IGP routing protocols,
- policy based routing,
- multicast,
- gateway redundancy protocols,
- WAN/LAN/WLAN topologies,
- VPC,
- NAT,
- network tunnelling technologies such as GRE and IPSec,
- traffic shaping and QoS,
- experience with monitoring systems, SNMP and incident handling.
Knowledge regarding the below would also be nice to have :
- technology overlays like VxLAN,
- TACACS and Radius on Cisco ISE,
- goods from Check Point and Palo Alto,
- application load balancers from F5,
- Services like Infoblox DNS, DHCP, IPAM, and NTP,
- automated with Ansible,
- the scripting languages Python and Perl,
- VoIP and multimedia solutions (SIP),
- AWS direct link and transit gateways,
- Virtualization with VMWare,
- basic familiarity with Linux
- EVE-NG and GNS3 are two examples of virtual testing environments
Other skills that you can show :
- having 3 - 5 years' experience as a network operation engineer within a production environment,
- minimum CCNA, ideally CCNP, level qualification or equivalent proven experience and skills,
- excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities with great attention to detail and a methodical work style,
- experience working in data centres and understanding data centre infrastructure,
- strong communication and interpersonal skills as well as customer service orientation.
