Senior Frontend Developer

My client, a Hungarian fintech startup company has a brand new vacancy for a Senior React Developer. Office space is available downtown Budapest, but you are free to work completely remotely, if you like.

What you will do:

As a Senior React Developer you will help build a world-class engineering organization and demonstrate a great degree of autonomy, end-to-end ownership and flexibility by working closely with our tech & business teams.

You will be responsible for the frontend technology stack. Maintain and plan improvements which support business goals in the long-term. Help build development standards and conventions to make sure code quality improvements are continuous. Review code to verify it meets expectations.

You will also guide junior developers to perfect their frontend skills. Teach and help the team be successful with the used frontend platform and technologies.

Ideally, you have:

• 4-5 years of web-development experience
• TypeScript/JavaScript experience (React / Vue / Svelte)
• REST API, Tailwind CSS experience
• Knowledge of frontend build tools, CI/CD

You will stand out from the crowd with:

• Basic SEO understanding - writing efficient and valid code
• Server-side rendering knowledge
• Basic knowledge of PHP/Laravel Framework (used for our backend code)
• Experience with frontend build tools, like Webpack, Vite
• Start-up work experience
