Tax Manager

We are seeking a highly qualified Tax Manager to join our team.
Tasks: 

• As a Tax Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring tax compliance for our company and minimizing our tax risk exposure.
• Your duties will include preparing and filing tax returns, keeping track of tax regulations, and acting as a main point of contact with tax authorities and auditors.
• You will also support the monthly closing process, prepare statutory reports for annual audits, assist with new project implementation, and monitor the registration status of e-invoices in the tax authority interface.

Requirements:

• university degree in economics, accounting, or tax, and be a qualified accountant or tax advisor (e.g., ACCA).
• strong knowledge of Hungary tax legislation, IFRS, and local GAAP.
• 3 years of work experience in taxation and audit within an international environment, ideally with a big 4 firm.
• fluent in both English and Hungarian, have strong communication and teamwork skills, and be open-minded.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and familiarity with electronic tax bureau requirements (e.g., e-invoice/SAFT) is essential.
