Thanks to the developments of the past 25 years, the Cegléd factory produces more than 8.5 million power semiconductors, transforming the once 37-employee facility into a significant player in the city’s economy and its surrounding area, now employing nearly 1000 people and dynamically growing. Due to the increasing demand for efficient energy usage, the product range manufactured by Infineon continues to expand.
We encounter Infineon semiconductors countless times in our day-to-day lives: in trams, trolleybuses, trains, smartphones, or even bank cards.
